Tracks We Leave

We will be well known forever
by the tracks we leave.

Dakota proverb

Of Note: The light and shadows on my late afternoon garden path simulate footprints. The Dakota Indians used to hunt in our area in northern Wisconsin so, could be, they walked on this path as well. It runs adjacent to Mossback Lake which used to be the Namekagon River, their thoroughfare for entry into the region. Using our "As If" capabilities opens a whole new avenue of imaginative thinking.

Today's Weather Report: The mornings are consistently cool now so fall is not far away. Our summers are short, but this one has been even more so with a cool, long, wet spring. Right now I've got a sweatshirt on to keep warm in my office.
