Catastrophe as Spiritual

Catastrophe is the essence of the spiritual path,
a series of breakdowns allowing us to discover
the threads that weave all of life into a whole cloth.

Of Note: Photographer Marie never would have guessed I would use her great mountain scene for a quote on catastrophe. But catastrophic describes perfectly the forces that originally uplifted these mountains which we now describe as magnificent, which vistas send our souls in search of meaning.

Today's Weather Report: Partly cloudy and coolish at the moment. But by mid-afternoon, I expect that all to change to hot. What has been nice about this summer has been the lack of humidity for the most part. We haven't had to use the bedroom air conditioner this week, so our electric bill says thank you.
