One must not study the customs of people but the substance of consciousness. When we train ourselves to sense the current of Infinity, then people, instead of praying, will command the elements. Instead of "God working for us," we, through our own labor and soul energy, will help ourselves. For that is what it means to be Divine.

Today's Weather Report: A foot a snow is expected starting late afternoon! Thank heavens it's coming now before the daffodils are up. With snow soon to arrive, there is no sun to brighten the day.
Observation: The story about the Yearn for Zion Ranch (YZR) in Texas is darkly troubling. Child Protection folks in Texas now have custody of all 401 children taken from there last week after convincing a judge of the imminent danger of abuse. It struck me today how similar were the male Islamic suicide bombers and the men from the Year for Zion Ranch (YZR.) They all share a belief that their "good" deeds will result in union with a bevy of virgins. The only difference? One group believes the unholy unions will take place in heaven while the other believes Earth is a better place. Dark indeed.
